Having never been to Guatemala before, I really didn’t know what to expect. Truthfully, I thought it would be a country with little to offer. Not so! This was an amazing trip from start to finish. The destinations were great, the hotels were top notch and the activities were really fun and educational. Antigua is an eye opener with its cobblestone streets, colorful colonial buildings and smoking volcanoes. Lake Atitlan, formed from the caldera of an ancient volcano and rimmed with several beautiful villages and more volcanos, is an amazing sight. Tikal, one of the largest Mayan cities, is humbling with is immense size, dating back thousands of years. Both the wife and I give Imprint tours 2 thumbs up!

The Amazon jungle lodge with individual open air cabanas was amazing! Waking up to red holler monkeys and birds calling will be a life memory. The food was amazing at the lodge. Just loved all the wildlife here and the local guides were knowledgeable, fun and interesting to journey with. Jungle walk on suspension bridges was scary but fun! You gotta do it :) The Ollantaytambo village lunch at a textile conclave was the highlight of this trip for me, as a quilter. The women were so warm and welcoming. The presentation of their weaving craft was amazing from natural llama wool to natural dying techniques to loom weaving resulting in beautiful wearable art. Just fantastic! Of course Machu Picchu was breathtaking. I can check this off my bucket list ✔️ But there were SOOO many people there, that I wasn’t expecting. Still very much worth seeing. Our tour director William was the best! Overall a fun trip. (I’ll pass on Lima-just another BIG dirty congested city. Glad we only stayed one night.

We had a great time on the China OBT-I tour. It felt quite adventurous to be the only westerners in just about every location we visited. The friendly Chinese people and the learned proficiency with Google Translate, made it pretty painless to visit these off the beaten track locations. The sites we visited were spectacular, and the well developed infrastructure, made the visit enjoyable

Wonderful traveling companions for this physically demanding trip. Good to have Amazon visit prior to Machu Picchu which was a highlight of the itinerary. Good options for food provided. Tour manager William was excellent, professional and fun; local tour guide Diana was outstanding and attentive to everyone's needs and provided many optional activities and places to eat during tour free time. She was also helpful in providing honest info about difficulty levels or some of the more demanding activities so people could choose whether to participate or not - especially the long hike in the Amazon to the lake. Her orientation walks and informative talks on the bus in transit to locales were helpful in setting the stage for our daily sightseeing. All local guides in the Amazon and at Machu Picchu were knowledgeable and sensitive to group dynamics and abilities. Accommodations and meals were great. Would like to have more detail about individual daily activities in advance for individual planning for free time for sightseeing, meals, packing for days for shorter legs of trip (where luggage would be stored/kept), down-time. We realize that some of the itinerary may be weather or politically dependent and requires some flexibility, but the final itinerary that was automatically sent from WeTravel was not sufficient as it did not include hotels, meals provided, or more information than the original draft itinerary for the tour.

A great trip. Mouna was excellent. Improvements would be to list the daily bus times in the itinerary. The one posted in the trip description. A description of the day's trek would be good two. (Of course you recognize this as Rick Steves method.) Doing so would not dissuade me from the trip but instead better set my expectations. Using WhatsApp worked well but daily schedules could have been posted a bit more timely. Looking forward to future Imprint touring.
